Our MA International Luxury Business programme offers a comprehensive education in the management and development of luxury brands. The programme is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in luxury business and strategy sectors. Through concept development, strategic planning, and a deep dive into the commercial and creative aspects of luxury branding, you’ll develop business acumen, marketing expertise, and strategic thinking tailored for the luxury sector. The focus is on brand development, consumer engagement, and business strategy within the global luxury market.

This programme combines academic rigour with real-world industry connections, offering a unique learning experience. A four-week optional work placement and a live industry project are integrated into the curriculum, offering invaluable hands-on experience.

This one-year programme is structured over four 10-week terms at RQF level 7. It combines academic study with industry-focused skills, preparing you for a career in the fashion media, fashion business, and luxury lifestyle industries.

Brand Communication & Marketing Strategy

This module explores the strategies luxury brands use to communicate and market their identities in a competitive landscape. You’ll examine successful communication techniques and the tools that brands employ to engage with their target audiences. The module also offers the chance to develop your visual communication skills and apply them using industry-standard software, preparing you to craft compelling brand narratives.

Critical Research: Understanding Audiences

This module equips you with the research methods and tools essential for gaining deep insights into consumer behaviour within the luxury sector. You’ll study research philosophies, ethics, and both primary and secondary methodologies. The focus is on analysing and presenting findings effectively, ensuring you can link theoretical concepts with practical applications in the luxury industry.

The Business of Luxury

In this module, you’ll delve into the unique business dynamics that define the luxury sector. You’ll explore the economic principles, brand management strategies, and consumer psychology that drive luxury businesses. The course covers how to manage and grow luxury brands in an increasingly global and digital marketplace, giving you a solid foundation in luxury brand strategy.

Luxury Innovation & Futures: Live Luxury Project

This module challenges you to think ahead and innovate within the luxury industry. Working on a live project, you’ll apply your knowledge to real-world scenarios, responding to emerging trends and envisioning the future of luxury brands. The focus is on fostering creativity and strategic thinking, preparing you to lead innovation in the luxury sector.

Final Master’s Project

The Final Master’s Project is your opportunity to synthesise your learning into a practical outcome aligned with your career goals. Whether you’re developing a new business concept, enhancing a brand strategy, or creating a portfolio, your project will be supported by a written thesis. This module connects academic research with industry practice, showcasing your ability to navigate and innovate in the luxury brand landscape.

Accrediting Body & Award Structure

This programme holds international recognition as a degree qualification accredited and conferred by The University of Buckingham. It is structured as four 10-week terms spread across one academic year at RQF level 7. The programme combines academic rigour and industry engagement with practical and professional skills, drawing on the expertise of Vogue’s wide network of industry professionals.

Credits

The degree carries a value of 180 credits within the UK’s Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) at level 7, equivalent to 90 European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) credits.

This programme contains modules, experiences and opportunities designed to equip you with the essential skills, knowledge and practice crucial for a successful fashion career, from personal development to professional working practice.

Within the course content, there will be many career and professional development elements and activities available to you, including:

Deposit Payment & Instalment Options

To secure your place on the course, a deposit of £3,000.00 is required within 14 days of receiving your offer. Please note, the deposit option is unavailable for bookings made within six weeks of the course start date where full course fees are required.

Students have the option to pay the tuition fee in instalments over the duration of the course. International students are required to pay the first instalment of the course fee in full and in advance to obtain the CAS number necessary for Student Visa purposes.

Student Loans, Scholarships, & Bursaries

Students studying at Vogue College of Fashion are currently ineligible for student loans.
